Reading the Bible isn't easy....for anyone.
Thankfully God is faithful to those who are faithful.
Just keep reading. Read a little everyday. Be aware: every time you open your Bible you may not be blinded by bright lights, hover off your chair and feel the wisdom of God rain down upon you.
In fact many days you might feel nothing. But - that doesn't mean that nothing is happening. By reading the Bible you are allowing yourself the oppurtunity to get to know the spirit of God. And when you do read - God promises to reveal himself. Maybe not right that moment as you eat your Frosted Mini Wheats - and maybe not even that day. But, slowly, you will find yourself with a better understanding of who God is. And, perhaps, a better understanding of what God whats for your life.
