Today I have the privilege and honor of announcing that the inaugural issue of Bible Study Magazine went to press. For those of you who do not know, I was hired by Logos Bible Software about five months ago to launch, manage and be the Associate Editor of Bible Study Magazine. Since then, the project has been a deep passion of mine. I believe it will truly make a difference in the lives of those who read it.
I know I am a bit biased, but I can honestly tell you that it is a beautiful magazine, with tons of enriching and fascinating content from (or about) some of the best in the church and biblical scholarship, including: Josh McDowell, David Lawson, Peter Flint, Daniel Wallace, Mark Goodacre, Craig Broyles, Michael Heiser and Arnold Fruchtenbaum. Plus, a few of our contributors are expert bloggers right here at Conversant Life: Christy Tennant, Jeannine Seery and myself.
At $14.95 for a one-year subscription, it is well worth your dollar. You can subscribe by clicking here.
One of the sections I write for the magazine is called "Facing Today with the Book of Hebrews," which is an ongoing Bible study intended for small groups (though it can be used for personal study as well). The first 8 weeks of this study are included in the inaugural issue: Nov-Dec 2008. We have also made it cheap for you and others to go through this study together, with our reduced prices on bulk orders.
P.S. I will be continuing our discussion about what it means to "see God" and "see the infinite in everything" shortly.
