The Chronicles of Narnia movies and books are great way to point unbelievers to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Aslan, the lion, represents Jesus Christ, and it is easy to make that connection with those who have seen the movies or read the novels.

Churches of Christ – Can you hear me now?

As one of the poor Churches in one of the poorest areas of the Philippines calls for help. Will the Church of Christ answer?

I remember being in a Baptist meeting in California when the call
went out for a Church that was about to close. We were asked if we could
give to help this Church pay it’s bills and get on it’s feet. Even as a
Missionary on deputation, I felt that “pull” of the Holy Spirit to help
and I did with even more than I had. Just like the Macedonian example:

I’m Sorry

So many songs have been written to say I’m sorry. Brenda Lee sang: I’m sorry, so sorry that I was such a fool.
Elton John sang, “ Sorry seems to be the hardest word however in this day and age I no longer accept sorry at face value.

Sorry has become a cheap word so easily dispensed at the drop of a
hat to relieve someone of the harm that they did. I don’t buy it.
