This song was born out of a very difficult time of processing past hurts and pains. It's just the rough version to get the melody and thoughts down. I'll clean it up in the near future.
From the writer of the book of Job to the present, it is good for people to express these feelings, because we all have them as we go through times of pain, loss and dissappointment. I'd like to hear more.
Thanks Doc. I'm learning that there is a lot of lamenting that takes place in the old testament. David seems to have spent a huge amount of time working through that stuff. I'm going through an awesome time of growth and I'll be posting some more stuff soon.
great stuff man. I know it's just a rough cut, but it seems you have some raw talent, especially in the vocals. No auto-tuning, no production..the song is raw but it still communicates in a powerful way. As you clean it up and go in the studio, I'd encourage you to push that element. It really works for your style.
