Hello peoples! This poem is going to be a concept (with accompanying artwork) on my second album (I put out my first album independently in October, it's not in stores or anything, I just sell it myself). In the world of Christianity, I have a hard time defining myself. Though I do not think I should or need to define myself, I do find Christ in different philosophies. I tend to relate to how some Eastern philosophy aligns with Christ's. For example, the emphasis on humility and teaching one person at a time or small groups at a time (i.e. the master and the student or Jesus and the twelve apostles). True, this train of thought is found in movies of the Martial Arts variety, but I'm 26! What else would you think would have a major impact on me! LOL! Anyways, here is the poem/verse. The poem/song is entitled, "I'm a CM". Enjoy!

I’m a CM,

A Christian monk on a mission,

My words are only meant for those that wanna listen,

Each second preciously spent, so no pearls tossed to pigs then!

I leave pigs stuck up in the pigpen!

Some wanna be big man on campus,

But I’m prone to follow the big men:

The Father and the Son

That pass me the truth like Tyler Thigpen!

I play the fool when I don’t listen!

But a righteous man falls seven times and gets back up,

So there’s proof that I’m never smitten!

And that’s what that is!

I carry the Blood on the tip of my staff

To remind me that I’m His!

It reminds me not to relax every time that I dip!

They think it’s a pagan ritual every time that I sip!

But I do it all into the remembrance of Him!

So the next time that you see,

A humble monk in a gi,

Just remember that Christ is a mixture of the West and the East!

A monk of the true Feudal Lord,

That’s me!
