It seems that no matter how cleansed I am at my core, there's always some gunk around the edges. Our fallen world and its dark rulers revel in mud-slinging, and some amount of contact with the filth is unavoidable. That being the case, I've decided to focus on the blessings it can bring: humility, connection to others, and dependence on God.
