it's been a while since i blogged here.  can't decide about blogging here or our other blog.  that blog is more about family, not my particular journey. however, this affects/effects our family...anyway...

 so there have been some amazing blessings along the way of this no shopping experiment slash self prescribed rehab.  and there have been moments, like this evening, that i am facing the mountain in front of us.  that mountain is our debt.  we were in this terrible loan with a HUGE intrest rate.  over the past couple of months, we've met with debt counselors, wise trusted voices and others who have shared with us their struggles or their wisdom in all things financial.  the biggest one was to get out of this loan.  once we prayed, talked a lot, prayed some more..we went to our credit cards that were available to us, got lower to almost 0% interest rates for a time, and did the whole balance transfer over to get out of that loan.  i felt free for a minute until i wrote out our plan of attack and the due dates and all that stuff of our three cards.  i know it's going to take some time...a lot of time to pay off...i just think the stark reality of looking at the word document with our attack plan that we are posting on our closet doors is just a bit sobering.  we will get through this, it's just hard facing it.
