I'm not sure of the date of my last post here. My heart was never far away, but life took me in new directions. Some better than others, and some to a place where dream meets reality.

I have been writing for seven years, give or take a few months. Many of the "rules" of writing, I learned from the incredible writers found on Conversant Life. 

Constructive criticism at its finest can be found, if we are willing to put our writing out there for all to see. Unfortunately, along with this, can come good for nothing comments that lead to discouragement. Fortunately, this is not the case within this community of grace.

Because of all that I learned in my early years as a writer, and my continued efforts to improve, I have found myself  "discovered." After hundreds of articles written and rewritten, and rewritten again, my first book is in the process of being published, and set to release December 1, 2011.

(Oh, I should mention that aside from any effort on my part, this is only possible by the grace of God.)

Today I find my self back where I began for three main reasons:

1) To say thank you to all of had a hand in shaping my style and skill.

2) To read through all my old posts and rewrite them using the skills I have gained over the years.

3) To get to know all those who have made this community their home since I have been away.

Though I am not anywhere near where I need to be, I am thankful I have grown ,and I look forward to what lie ahead.  

Go wherever God leads; embrace it! Listen and learn!
