Just saw this on John Piper's./Desiring God blog, and loved it. He calls it a corrective tract for the prosperity gospel. You go, JP. If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?(Mark 8:34-36) |

"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." John 16:33. This is our present reality and will be until we are home. And that's OK.

It's only lately that I began going to church and belive in god with whole my soul. I enjoy my time with the family, especially eating chicken, eggs or pancakes that were cooked on the presto 07211 griddle and I also like to spend my time with friends in the parks and other interesting places. So I am happy that I read the info here.
