What do you find aberrant or heretical about the emergent church movement?
I asked the question. Do you have an answer?
No, but only because the question is far too broad. Entire movements are not aberrant or heretical, ideas or doctrines within those movements are.
So...what specifically are you looking at within the emergent church movement that you are questioning the validity of?
I will let this question play out for a while, before I respond to your question.
Great answer Gonzoguy
I agree with Gonzoguy. There are doctrines believed and stances taken by various individuals within the emergent church which could be considered heretical. But, in all fairness, there are doctrines believed and stances taken by various individuals within even the most conservative of denominations which could also be considered heretical.
I really enjoyed Mark Driscoll's message on this subject. You should check it out! Go to http://media.marshillchurch.org/ then click on Sermons, then Specials and it's like the second one down the page.
Let me know what you think!
I like that Marshill Church site!
"Mars Hill", Sorry.
