How can I explain to somebody that the Bible is truly the word of God without quoting from the Bible? I have a couple of friends who believe that there is a Creator but don’t really think that the Bible is reliable. They think that it was just written by some men. So my question is how can I show that God wrote the Bible without using Scripture?
You can never prove to someone something they refuse to believe. I have never heard of anyone believing in Christ (or the Bible) because of the overwhelming proof, but I have heard of it driving someone closer towards Christ.
However, you can always present someone with evidence. The story of how the Bible came together is truly fascinating and amazing.

I like the question and your answer should be. Bible was written by someone. The main idea about Christianity is that they offered a good life after death. Everyone died of hunger, disease, in pain and sorrow. They found a solution, if you will be good in this life and obey some rules (I am not saying those rules were made in the benefit of the men who created bible ), they will live happily, won`t have problems regarding where to get food, how to resist in those times, where 95% of population live well and the rest were dying of hunger. We must have God in our heart, imagine as we want him to be, speak to him, ask for help,etc, not reading some bible where Adam and Eva had only 2 children, one of them were killed. And from where other kids were taken? Eva and her child. :) I did not ever write on this kind of blogs, but the comment where people ask each other how to convince others to believe in a book written by humans, that it was written by god itself. Wake up a little and go make your confessions on your iphone.
