My mother taught me playing the lottery is bad so, I’ve always been against gambling. I think now of the logical aspect of the lottery and I agree with the devotional. Everyone nowdays is wanting to “get rich quick”. I think about the riches in Christ Jesus. I’d never trade that for any silver or gold or any winning lottery ticket.
While the poor dream of having riches, the wealthy long for simplicity.
If there’s one thing you can count on (besides death and taxes), it’s the desire to “get rich quick.” Why do you think lottery fever shows no sign of cooling off? Millions of people buy lottery tickets for no other reason than to instantly acquire unimaginable riches.
