Here is the fourth video in our series on our life abroad. Thankfully we were able to get a washing machine because before we did, Kim was having to hand wash her clothes. Anyway, here's another glimpse into domestic life in a post-communist country.
If you can't view it on the Conversant site, you can view it on YouTube here:

Intentional or not, there's something sort of wonderful about seeing a film clip based on nothing but a single ordinary chore, especially one that we middle class Westerners take for granted. You are wise to record the mundane. (Others may go "huh? Laundry Day?" but I like the hidden commentary).
Wow...again, you guys do it all, and are going to feel like everything is easy-peasy when you get back from your "Mongolian Experience". Hey Nick, just thinking, why not eat something really gross one day and send it in to that Bizarre Foods guy Andrew Zimmer on the Discovery Channel. If they like your clip, they'll use it. I'm thinking maybe one of the eyes off of one of those goat heads or something. We'll be waiting with anticipation for that clip.
Nick and Kim, only you could make laundry look like so much fun. Your slices of life are amazingly fresh and inspiring.
