We're in this economic mess today because previous generations refused to think long-term. We're making the same mistake about the environment if we ignore the data (and I'm NOT referring to polls). The headline on this post is misleading - it implies that the majority of the scientific community is trying to mislead the general public (i.e. those who don't look into the facts for themselves) as to SCIENTIFIC data. If you follow the link, the article criticizes "Some Scientists" for misreading POLL data. So who is misleading whom? Humans are good at plugging our ears and acting stupid if its something we don't want to acknowledge.
