Scott Tyler is a 23-year old songwriter born and raised in central California. In April 2008, Scott completed work on “Storyville,” an album of original folk songs that showcase Scott’s ability to draw one deep into a story. Starting with the boisterous wheezing of a revival tent pump organ and ending with the sound of broken stained glass, these songs chronicle the hollowed out men who walk the God-forsaken streets in search of the ones they love, the time they’ve wasted and the hope of finding redemption. Scott Tyler currently resides in the black mountains of western North Carolina where he lives in an artist colony called “The Electric Ghost Collective.”
