I wrote this song in response to the pain of life we all have been through or will go through at some point in time. It is a song that takes into account the Lament Psalms and the way the Psalmists would exhaust themselves against God in lament, yet then would acknowledge His faithfulness in the midst of their pain. The Church today needs to lead our people through a healthy, biblical lament - a lament that lets them admit their frustrations and hurts, but that also confesses the goodness of a God who will not " abandon them to the grave."

It's an awesome song on an awesome CD by an awesome artist pointing us to an Awesome God! I've gone through a life full of difficulties that have forced me into this sort of responsive lamentation that ultimately becomes deeper reliance on God and appreciation for the hard times that He sends our way, pointing us to Him. Paul really dishes out this sort of message in his music, and I appreciate it very much. Not to mention that he's an awesome, humble guy. I'm thankful to get to know him personally and am very excited about his leap of faith in ministry. It's exciting! Watch out, New York! God is collecting some forces of Light :)

I'm a big fan of this song. The vocals are unique and strong. It's a "God" song but it's not cliche. Keep getting votes and maybe you'll win the contest we have going on. Thanks for submitting. I really dig it.

Nice job Paul!

Great song. Great production values. Keep up the good work!
