If God is all knowing and knows the future perfectly, then why would He go
through all the trouble of creating Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden (in
addition to creating the entire Universe) when He knows in advance that they
would commit sin and eat the forbidden fruit?

Simply put- free will. I believe that God knew from the beginning that we would fall, in the garden. But He also knew that there would be many that would CHOOSE to follow HIM. Before the foundations of the Earth, the Bible says that God knew the plans He has for each of us. If He'd started over, or given up...the lineage from Adam...to Abraham...to Christ wouldn't have been. His plans for us would never have been. He created "the world" so that we would love and fellowship with Him. But love always offers a choice.

Most of the times,you know for certain(even before having children),there will be times the kids will go against your will. You know you'll probably fight once or twice. Its also kinder like marriage(so i hear).
So then the Question is,why bother? God loves us!Enough to create the very creaters he knew would reject him(just like what Jesus did-died for the people who crucified him).
