President Obama Comes Out of the Closet.

In an astonishing announcement from our nation’s capitol, President Obama has confirmed that he was indeed a Kenyan-born plant; the key component of an African conspiracy to bring America back to a purely capitalistic governmental policy. With Glen Beck at his side, a broad grin on his face, and his trademark eloquence, President Obama announced a sweeping series of executive decrees.

Having sold all public schools to the McDonalds corporation’s new “Ronald McDonald Happy School” division, parents of any student enrolled would now be responsible to pay the nearly $25,000 annual tuition that the “communist socialists” administrations of the past had supported. Tuition will include a free Happy Meal as part of a “Freedom Fridays” celebration.

In addition, all “socialist intrusion” in higher education is also ending. Harvard University reported being swamped with new applications, as their $ 50,000 plus annual tuition is suddenly very competitive to the formerly “socialist enclaves” known as public universities. A deal with the Ford Corporation, who has launched a “Forderversities” division, is pending. It is rumored that top graduates will receive free, eight cylinder Explorers, left over from the socialist expansion of President Bush.

In addition, all former “public roadways” will now be privately owned, protected from any socialist intrusion. The former socialist annual expenditure of $ 40 billion will now be replaced by tolls paid to participating patriotic private companies. At a cost of thousands a year for every man, woman and child in the United States, Obama laughed in anticipation of how good capitalists in America will feel cruising down the new “Donald Trump True-American Throughway,” that had been formerly known as Interstate 80.

Surprisingly, the 60 million Americans formerly provided medical coverage through the Medicare and Medicaid programs, which accounted for 16 percent of the former budget of the United States government, were seemingly dismayed at their need to pay the Geico Gecko for a new “Deliverance from Socialized Medicine” initiative. Obama reassured the press, as he explained that “removing billions of dollars of socialist intrusion is certainly worth it. Red-blooded Americans with cancer will know supporting capitalism is worth any cost to human life. Capitalist death panels run by insurance companies, with the power to deny coverage, have been embraced by Americans for decades.”

Other initiatives will include the privatization of all socialist police, fire, and emergency medical units, socialist/public water and sewer systems, eliminating $461 billion in socialist farm subsidies, and liquidating the American car industry.  As global markets crashed throughout the world and American banks failed in mass, President Obama and Mr. Beck reveled in the new levels of global freedom to plant carrots and create heat by burning furniture.

Thank God for Glen Beck. I guess you like socialism Mark, which is fine. Evidently, if we are a capitalist nation, we will all be poor and end up burning furniture for heat. I guess that would be good for the environment because atleast we would not be burning oil.

We always must remember, socialism has proven to bring more wealth to a society. Socialism has always been the bastion of freedom while all capitalist countries are evil. We should all follow Che...right wingers like Glen Beck over look his mass killings, political suppression and squashing of freedom of speech. Perhaps we should look at Mark Llyod, Obama's new FCC chief. He said that those nasty private business owners almost stopped Chavez's excellent revolution of shutting down golf courses and taking privately owned (evil) property from those that did not deserve it anyways. Socialism is excellent for free speech and property rights!

Evidently, I missed the note about McDonald's owning public schools...it must be a far right wing plot to make money off the school lunch program! We should also make sure that we pay farmers not to plant crops because that will drive up the price of food! We need to make sure we can charge more for our food or perhaps use it for ethanol. Yes, we can burn our food! We need population control anyways according to Cass Susstein and Harold Koh.

Dan, is that you? I think I hear your writing voice. : )

Hey, you are out-sarcasing me! Did not know that could be done. But, just want to note, that there is a balance here, right? We agree that a level of government intervention is needed?

And, Yes, I suspect it's Dick Cheney behind the school lunch program. : )

Mark,
This made me laugh out loud. Nice, nice job.

And, to reply to the "guest" commenter above. Any sentence that begins with "Thank God for Glen Beck," is simply not worth reading. I don't think looking to Glen Beck as a prophet is wise.

That is pretty anti-intellectual Jodie. I was having fun with Mark as we have engaged a number of times. I imagine that you do not want to read it because you cannot effectively respond. I find that the new generation (I am only 41) is pretty weak intellectually because they only listen too and pay attention to things that make them feel pretty! Well, understanding both sides of the debate is most important for those that respect intellectual discourse.

Thanks, Jodie! Means a lot coming from you. And the previous post is a friend who is out-sarcasing a very sacastic person. No blood, no foul, as they say.

Enjoying your blogs, Jodie.

Mark,
You miss the point--if our government schools were RUN by McDonald's, our kids would actually be learning something and we would not NEED remedial classes in college to learn the basics they were never taught in K-12. If you're happy with the end results of government education, you've truly been brainwashed!!

OK, Dale, you really want McDonalds running our schools? Maybe something with less government intrusion, like charter schools? The only trouble with Charter schools is they function well in the context of public education. Not sure they would work without the public schools around them.

Ah...I get the sarcastic stuff now. Apologies to you Mr. Guest. I'm coming off of getting ripped a new one on my blog about the Godmobile, so I stopped reading at the first sentence, literally. I thought you were one of "them!" And, Glen Beck is coming to my neck of the woods this week and the hoopla is driving me nuts. My bad....

Jodie, I need to read the comments on the Godmobile Blog. Personally, I loved it. : )
