Liberation from Torment #2

Hello again! I hope everyone is doing well and that the last e-mail wasn't too hard to comprehend and process.  I know for me in the moment it took some time:]

Ok, so I have something else that happened that is pretty heavy.  I talked a little about how there has been 2 or 3 people who started rolling on the ground and yelling.  My pastor Jason said they were demons trying to distract people from hearing the gospel, but nothing ever really came of them.  They would just get up before we were done preaching and walk away.  Well... a few days ago we were praying for a couple hundred people after a meeting and about 10 feet away from me a woman began screaming.  The leader of the ministry I was with and our Indian interpreter began laying hands on her and praying for her (and keeping her under control).  For about the next 20 min she was yelling and flailing all around.  She seemed like she was going through so much suffering and seeing her like that made me tear up with the compassion I had for her.  I couldn't imagine what God must have been feeling.  Here is his creation that he loves more than anything in the universe going through such torment.  Well eventually she laid down and stayed there for another 15 min.  We continued to pray and finally she got up and was completely disoriented.  It took her a few minutes to gain composure and then she began talking.

She started to explain what she had been through.  “4 years ago an evil spirit entered me and has caused me a lot of pain” she said.  “It will not let me eat anything more than a small handful of rice without making me vomit.  I am in constant unbearable stomach pain.  My family took me to the hospital and they said all they could do is surgery that we can not afford”.  She began to cry as she explained how she had felt Jesus lift her up in his hands while she was laying there and now she had no pain.

When we got done praying for everyone we went into the village to eat.  The woman went home and told her family about what had happened.  They whole family came and found us eating and the husband could not express to us how thankful he was.  He said she is completely better.  She sat and ate a whole meal with us.  They could hardily believe it.  Just seeing her joy made me want to do this stuff for the rest of my life:]

Mark 16:15-18
"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.  And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will place their hands on sick people and they will get well."

**Take a look at the picture I attached.  They woman in the middle is the woman who I wrote about and the other people are her family.
