Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" is my very favorite Christmas story and I love it in just about any of its movie incarnations. "Bah, humbugs" have been muttered by Scrooges played by top-notch dramatic actors like George C. Scott and Albert Finney, former Miss America Vanessa Williams, former Fonzie Henry Winkler, and former Saturday Night Live star Bill Murray.

Absolutely hands down the Muppet's Christmas Carol. Kermit as Bob Crachet is absolutely believable and Oscar worthy. Ok, on a serious note, I love this movie. The songs are what make it great. After all...there's only one more sleep til Christmas.
I'm with you, peter! The music makes the Muppet Christmas Carol something special. I can watch it over and over during the holiday season (and sing along!)--and it always brings a smile to my face. Gotta love the rats working in Scrooge's office...and I always get choked up when Kermit comes home to Tiny Tim's empty chair. Thank goodness for Christmas morning!
O Holy Night... Wow. That song is intense. I love it.
