I heard about Dirty Girl Ministries originally through Anne Jackson's blog, and I love the work Crystal is doing for women addicted to porn. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book, and I love how Crystal not only wrote about her experiences, but shared the experiences of other women as well. The recovery portion in the book is sound and based on a reputable 12-step program for sex addicts.

Finally, a resource for women that does not hold back. Crystal bravely shares her own story and her journey to recovery. This is certainly intended for those who want to live according to purity as defined by Christian Scriptures, but if someone was open minded enough, the steps alone are helpful to help someone find footing to free themselves from a place where the shame of having a sexual addiction or habit weighs on them.

Crystal has a no-holds barred approach to sharing her story of addiction. This book is encouraging and edifying for women everywhere to come clean and receive the grace and strength of Jesus Christ. This book empowered me to come clean from my own sexual sins and pursue healing in Christ. What a way to blow open the doors on the "taboo" of women's sexual sins and shatters illusions that women do not or cannot struggle with pornography. Crystal does a great job of offering steps to begin moving in the right direction and several resources to help along the way.
