Marlene still seems to learn the most about life through her relationships. And, as usual, many of those life lessons are learned the hard way. Fortunately, she laughs at herself often and consoles herself by saying, “I needed another good story.” She's been laughing at herself a lot lately as she transitions from being "beach girl" to "city girl" at her new address in downtown San Francisco. Fortunately, she didn't need to turn in her flip flops for panty hose.
